Under the auspices of CH2M HILL, Linda Macpherson served as concept director for the NEWater Visitor Centre, an international resource for public understanding and acceptance of water reuse.

The NEWater Visitor Centre marries advanced technology with a carefully crafted public education strategy to build awareness of the rapidly emerging need to manage our water resources in a more sustainable manner. Using digital technology, computer games, visual images, and videos, the facility explains water use and reuse in a fun, stimulating, and interactive manner. In addition to enjoying the digital and static exhibits, visitors can safely view the production of NEWater from an elevated glass-encased walkway.

NWR members who worked on this project: Linda Macpherson Jim Swenson, Peter Swanson, Kelly Kievit
